For i Light Singapore 2025, we created the Bridge of 1000 Dreams. A luminous installation constructed from bamboo sticks that glow under UV light. Each participant painted their own bamboo stick, sharing their dreams, ideas, and fantasies with the rest of the city. What lights up are the markings and drawings made by the citizens. Together, they form a bridge of light.
Singaporean studio Binary Style provided initial support and graphic guidelines. Ultimately, each bamboo stick bears the imprint of a different hand and a unique imagination. A thousand futures, translated into designs by those who will live them.
