This kiosk is a lively intervention where people can come together and enjoy the view. When the sun comes out, the kiosk will slowly start to rotate.
The design is an open object. You can sit on it, stand on it, play with it. Its shape and its location refer to the typical platforms you find on village squares in the south of The Netherlands. The roof is made out of a series of curved solar panels. When it’s sunny, they collect energy which is directly used to make the Kiosk go in a rotational motion. Its movement draws your attention towards the power of the sun.
